Wallin's carries a full line of drysuits -- stop by the store to try on a drysuit.

Drysuit Class Dates

Drysuit Repair

Drysuits

The drysuit, as opposed to wetsuits, provides more protection against the cold water environment that we find in the Monterey Bay Area. Many regular divers along the California coast line choose a drysuit because of the additional warmth that they provide.

Drysuits can be made of neoprene or laminated synthetic material. An inflator hose from the first-stage regulator is attached to the suit so it can be inflated to compensate for compression (squeeze) as a diver descends. Since air is used in the suit and effects a diver's buoyancy, additional training in using a drysuit is needed.

To learn more and find out about the next scheduled class please come by the store, call or e-mail for more information.
